Hi to everyone!

Before you run away from this web thinking "What is this, another cheap blog that has nothing to offer at all" give me a few minutes to explain what this is all about! You won't be disappointed, I promise.

First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Luis Pessini, I'm currently studying business at the Strathclyde University in Scotland and I recently graduated in computer science by the Universidad Europea de Madrid.

You will probably get to know me a bit better in forthcoming entries, but for the moment, as you've probably guessed by the blog title... let's just say that I am a little bit geeky. I love technology and videogames, and I am always looking for the latest trends and novelties in the net. I will always be able to tell you what's the hottest thing on the internet right now. But I'm not only passionate about this, I know that I would possibly bore anyone to death if I only talked about this...

My other passion is travelling and discovering. Discovering new places, experiences, persons, sensations, things to do... I personally believe that the world is much more than just a mass of earth and water, and that each single corner of it has something interesting to offer or see. I wouldn't love anything more than getting lost in a part of the world that I haven't got to know yet.

Fortunately, I have some experience in both of these fields, and I created this blog because I think that many persons out there, like me, would have loved to be up to date with what's up with the world regarding these topics.

Weekly from now on to Christmas, I will post one or two articles related to the latest technology, travelling and overall latest tendencies on the net, so if you like my content don't be scared to pay me a visit some more times!

Unfortunately, when you are visiting the most popular places in each city you go to, there are many people out there that will try to fool you and scam you in some way. I’m telling you this because, unfortunately, I’ve suffered this myself in some places, and what better than my own experience to advise you so it does not happen anymore. The friendship bracelet/flowers scam: When you’re in a popular square or monument in each city, a stranger will approach you, gifting you a friendship bracelet. He will proceed to tie the bracelet around your arm really tight, and then proceed to ask you for money. While you try to untie the bracelet, a friend of him may also try to pickpocket you, so be really careful.  If you’re with your partner, he may gift you a flower as well, and then try to follow you asking for money. Travel tendencies: Budapest

Apart from Prague, there is another clear contender for a popular young travelling destination these last years. What traits does Prague share with this other city? Well, both cities have a large castle, both cities are crossed by a river, both have famous bridges, both use a coin that is not the Euro, both share gentle summers and extreme winters, and best of all, both cities are not very different in terms of prices. We're talking about Budapest, Hungary's capital. This city is somewhat bigger than Prague, having 400.000 more inhabitants. But overall we could say that these cities are very similar. I also visited this city during my interrail trip. And frankly, I was surprised when I arrived. My first thought when getting out of the station was: "Wow. This city is old." But not old like Prague. Gaming: The Nintendo Switch

I'll try to avoid it but I think I'm going full on fanboy mode for this one post. If you read the Welcome post, you'll probably know by now (and by the blog title) that I am a bit geeky. And as every good geek, I do like to play videogames from time to time. When I am travelling, I do like to carry on some kind of portable console that allows me to make those train, plane and bus trips a little bit more pleasant. Recently, I purchased the newest Nintendo console, the Switch, just out of curiosity, and it turns out, it packs quite the punch for its size. I'm not going to bore you with the technical aspects, but I'll simply tell you what you can do with it. Not your typical console. First of all, it is a home console.
